This Privacy Policy explains what information Quizz Arena collects, how that information is used, how long it is kept, and how users can request access, correction, or deletion.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Quizz Arena iOS application and related online game services used by the app. It covers information processed when a user opens the app, joins a live quiz, answers questions, views live rankings, or receives an end-of-game summary.

The official production game service is hosted at https://quizz.clupu.synology.me. If a user manually changes the server address inside the app, gameplay requests may be sent to that selected server. This policy covers Quizz Arena and the official game service, and does not apply to Apple services, App Store purchases, TestFlight, iOS system features, third-party websites, or third-party servers that are not operated by Quizz Arena.

4. Data we collect

Quizz Arena collects only the information needed to provide live quiz gameplay and support the app.

5. Local device storage

The app may store the following information locally on the user's device:

  • Selected server address.
  • Player name.
  • Player session ID.
  • Selected language.

Local storage helps the app remember preferences and reconnect to a session. Users can clear local app data by deleting the app from the device. A future app setting may also expose additional reset controls.

6. How we use data

Quizz Arena uses collected data for the following purposes:

  • To create and maintain a live game session.
  • To submit answers and calculate whether they are correct, wrong, or missed.
  • To calculate score, speed multipliers, mistakes, streaks, and rankings.
  • To show live leaderboards and hall-of-fame results.
  • To generate final game summaries and player reports.

  • To maintain security, diagnose technical issues, and prevent misuse of the service.

Where privacy laws require a legal basis, the processing is generally based on providing the requested game service, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where required, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.

7. Sharing and third parties

Quizz Arena does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for third-party advertising. Quizz Arena does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs in the iOS app.

Information may be processed by infrastructure used to host and operate the game server, email providers used to receive support requests, and Apple services used to distribute the app through the App Store. These parties process information only as needed to provide their respective services.

Quizz Arena may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the app, or the service.

8. Retention and deletion

Quizz Arena keeps information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Local preferences remain on the device until the user changes them, resets the player, or deletes the app.
  • Live gameplay data may be kept while needed to run the current game, show reports, maintain ranking features, and troubleshoot service issues.
  • Support emails are kept as long as needed to respond to the request and maintain a reasonable support history.
  • Server logs, if retained, are kept only as long as needed for security, debugging, and operations.

Users may request deletion of server-side data by emailing lupucpr.sxd@gmail.com. The request should include the player name and any relevant session details so the data can be located.

9. Privacy rights

Depending on where the user lives, privacy laws may provide rights to:

  • Request access to personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Request a copy of information in a portable format, where applicable.

10. Children

Quizz Arena is a quiz game and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable privacy laws without appropriate consent. 11. Security and international processing

Quizz Arena uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including limiting the data collected to what is needed for the game and using secure connections where supported by the service.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. Users should avoid using sensitive personal information as their player name.

The app and its server infrastructure may process information in countries different from the user's country of residence. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used for such processing.

12. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or support page where appropriate.
